 Season Ticket Holder Resale Policy and FAQs for Reselling

1. Official Marketplace

  • SeatGeek is the official Fan-to-Fan ticket marketplace of Major League Baseball.
  • Season Ticket Holders may list tickets for resale on SeatGeek directly through the MLB Ballpark app.
  • SeatGeek will automatically transfer tickets to purchasers or recipients.

2. Resale Limits

  • Season Ticket Holders may resell up to 50% of their season tickets cumulatively during the course of the season.
  • Season Ticket Holders may resell a maximum of 50% of their season tickets at one time.
  • Any tickets listed for resale count toward the 50% maximum threshold.
  • Tickets that are transferred and subsequently listed or resold also count toward the 50% maximum threshold.

3. Restrictions

  • Additional tickets purchased at a discounted rate may not be resold.
  • Any Season Ticket Holder who exceeds the resale thresholds may be subject to revocation of season ticket privileges without refund.
  • Peoria Sports Complex employees cannot access SeatGeek or any other secondary market accounts and may not provide advice on resale pricing.
  • Group tickets are not eligible for resale.
  • Peoria Resident Rewards tickets are not eligible for resale.

 Step-by-Step: How to Resell Your Ticket

1. First, check where your ticket came from.

Look at your confirmation email or app to see whether your ticket was issued through:

  • Peoria Sports Complex/MLB Ballpark App
  • Ticketmaster
  • SeatGeek
  • StubHub
  • Vivid Seats
  • Another platform (check the email sender or ticketing link)

2. Follow the steps below based on your ticket provider:

 Ticketmaster 

  • Go to ticketmaster.com or open the Ticketmaster app
  • Sign in and go to "My Tickets"
  • If resale is allowed, you’ll see a “Sell” button next to your event
  • Follow the prompts to list your ticket Your ticket will be verified and transferred automatically to the buyer once sold

 Seat Geek

  • Log in to your account on the app or at seatgeek.com
  • Go to “Tickets” and select the one you want to sell
  • Tap “Sell” and enter your price Once sold, SeatGeek will handle ticket delivery and notify you

 StubHub

  • Visit stubhub.com/sell
  • Search for the event or log in to list directly from your account
  • Upload or link your ticket
  • Set your price and post your listing Payment is issued after the event takes place

 Vivid Seats

  • Visit vividseats.com and log in
  • Navigate to “Sell Tickets”
  • Search for the event and follow the steps to upload your tickets Payment is typically processed after the event

 Tips

  • Only sell through official platforms to avoid fraud and ensure the buyer receives a valid ticket
  • Set a fair price — most platforms show you what similar tickets are selling for
  • Watch your email — you’ll get notified once your ticket sells and be guided through payment
