NEW FOR 2026! Experience Peoria Sports Complex like never before at the Grand Slam Campout, an overnight adventure taking place Saturday, October 17 through Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 AM.

For one special night, the outfield at Peoria Sports Complex will transform into a campground where families can pitch a tent and spend the night on the same field used by professional baseball players. Campers can enjoy an evening filled with a showing of Angels in the Outfield on the videoboard, games, activities, and plenty of opportunities to explore the ballpark before settling in for a night under the stars. While the campout is on the field, the Desert West Night Market will be on the main concourse for campers to interact with all of the specialty vendors and food trucks from 5pm to 9pm!

FAQs:

1.  What does my ticket include?
   • For $25 per person, your ticket includes access to the field for the Grand Slam Campout, a complimentary dinner, unlimited on-field activities, and a complimentary breakfast the following morning.
2.  What essentials should I bring?
   •  We recommend bringing a spike-less tent no larger than 12' x 12', a sleeping bag and pillow, flashlight, comfortable clothes to sleep in, a light jacket or sweatshirt, necessary toiletries, and any other personal camping essentials. Tent stakes are not permitted on the field.
3.  Who receives a Grand Slam Campout patch?
   •  Every registered participant will receive a commemorative Grand Slam Campout patch upon entering the field.
4.  Will there be adult supervision?
   •  All groups and youth staying overnight must be accompanied by at least one adult chaperone. City of Peoria staff will also be on-site throughout the event and overnight stay to provide assistance and guidance as needed.
5.  How do I bring my camping gear onto the field?
   •  Campers will access the field using the Right Field gate. Upon arrival, please make your way to the southwest corner of the stadium where the rolling gate to the back of the Complex is. Security will check you in, give you your wristbands, and direct you to the field entrance. We recommend bringing a wagon to transport your equipment.  All camping equipment is subject to a security check before entering the field.
6. What do I need to enter the campout area?
   •  All overnight participants will receive a wristband when entering the field. Wristbands help ensure that only registered Grand Slam Campout guests have access to the overnight area. A completed Release of Liability form and payment is required prior to arrival.
7.  What is included with dinner and breakfast?
   • Dinner will consist of your choice of Chick Fil A sandwiches or nuggets and water or Gatorade. No substitutions are available for the included meal; however, guests may purchase additional food from vendors at the Desert West Night Market. Breakfast will include a donut and coffee or hot chocolate and will be available as guests exit in the morning.
8.  Will concessions be open during the campout?
   •  Yes. Belltown Brewpub and Fastball Franks will be open, along with portable beverage locations on the field. Stadium concessions will close no later than 9 PM, so campers should make any additional purchases before then.
9.  Can I leave during the night?
   •  Yes. Guests may leave through the designated security gate at any point during the night. However, re-entry will not be permitted after you leave.  
10.   Where should I park?
    •  Campout guests are encouraged to park in the West Parking Lot, accessible from Stadium Way and 83rd Avenue.
11.  What movie will be shown? 
    • The feature film will be Angels in the Outfield and will begin approximately at 8 PM.
12.  What items are allowed and prohibited?
    • Permitted items include sealed water bottles, soda and juice; spike-less tents no larger than 12' x 12'; sleeping bags; inflatable mattresses; metal cots; sealed snacks; and camping chairs.
    • Prohibited items include pets (except registered service animals), speakers, generators, propane heaters, open flames of any kind, tent stakes, tables, and glass bottles.
13.  Where are the bathrooms?
    •  Guests may use any of the restrooms located along the main stadium concourse, port-a-potties on the warning track, or the dugout bathrooms. 
14. Can I bring my pet?
    •  Pets are not permitted at the Grand Slam Campout. Registered service animals are welcome at the Peoria Sports Complex.
